Quarter 1 Challenges
Complete a project in 3 of the following categories:
- Something old
- Something new
- Something inspired (idea borrowed from another crafter)
- Something in your favorite hue (could be blue!)
Quarter 2 Challenges
Complete a project in 3 of the following lucky talisman categories:
- Horseshoe - cables, horse and horseshoe inspired stuffies or motifs
- Clover - lace, clover inspired stuffies or motifs
- Rabbit - Angora or alternative fibers (alpaca, mohair), rabbit inspired stuffies or motifs
- Hand - handspun fiber, hand inspired motifs, project for your hands (mitts, mittens, gloves)
Quarter 3 Challenges
Complete a project in 3 of the following ways of feeling lucky:
- Random - unplanned or spontaneous cast-on or finish
- Love - create something for a loved one
- Community - find someone to twin with: crafting the same pattern or with the exact same yarn (vendor and colorway).
- Purpose/service - craft something that has a purpose in your home: washcloth, hotpad, pillow cover, coaster, scrubber, container
Quarter 4 Challenges
Complete a project in 2 of the following magic of the holidays categories.: This is for any holiday throughout the year (examples: Valentine's, Independence day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
- Holiday Palette - use signature colors of any holiday (examples: red&pink, red&white&blue, orange&black, Autumn hues, red&green, gold&sparkles)
- Holiday Icons - use signature icon(s) of any holiday (examples: hearts, flags & fireworks, pumpkins & skeletons, gourds & wishbones & cornucopia, tree & gifts, year & firework & champagne)
- Holiday Celebration Wearable - something to wear to a holiday celebration (example: any wearable - socks, sweaters, shawls, hat, gloves, skirt, dress)
- Celebrate YOU - we give so much throughout the year; a project purely for you to enjoy!
* Each project entry must be more than 100yds.
* 1 of your projects per quarter can be a pre-2025 WIP
* Only 1 project per category and 1 category per project
* All projects started and finished in 2025 are eligible for entries in the challenges.
